About me
My name is Andrew Throup. I was born in York and have lived in the Easingwold area all my life. I started snapping for fun on digital compact cameras and caught the photography bug. Now I own a Canon Digital SLR with a range of professional quality lenses and filters to help me to capture the images that I want, at the best possible quality.
I will be photographing local events such as motocross, rallies, Goth Weekend (Whitby), Pickering War Weekend and many others. Keep an eye out on my Gallery-Events page for up-to-date information. I am also Inspired by the region's beauty and by many local photographers such as Joe Cornish and David Tarn, I have been out and about photographing our beautiful coastlines and landscapes. What equipment do I use?
I use a Canon Digital SLR and have a range of lenses from 17mm - 200mm, wide angle and zoom. These lenses will allow me to photograph most situations from sport, landscapes, portraits and everything in between. I also use Adobe Photoshop for photograph manipulation. All images are stored on external hard drives to minimise risk of data loss.
